What We Do
Tacoma’s Neighborhood Council Program was established in 1992 to help residents connect, engage, and have a voice in their communities. Today, the city’s eight neighborhood councils continue that mission by encouraging civic participation and advocating for the neighborhoods they serve.
The West End Neighborhood Council (WENC) is here to support and represent the residents of the West End. We work to bring neighbors together, share information, and support projects and ideas that help our community thrive. For more details, you can explore our by-laws and Tacoma Standards and Guidelines.
We also host a community meeting on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30–8:30 PM—everyone is welcome. It’s a great way to stay informed, meet your neighbors, and get involved.
