Shoot 1 written evaluation -
I think I need to photograph at a different time of day as my best images were from the beginning of the shoot which is when there was the most light. As I started photographing at 7.30pm it only got darker from there and I could not produce the best quality images as there was limited light. I learnt a lot about my camera in this shoot and it proved to be too technical for me, so from now on I will borrow a camera from school which is newer, lighter and easier to use in general. Next time I will try not to repeat many photos of the same object instead I will change the angle/object/area I am photographing. I will explore more of the farm and look further into my ideas for the next shoot.
What was the focus of this shoot?
The focus was to explore the ideas of the artist model Ansel Adams. In his work he showed lots of Black and white images, fog and wide lanscape shots to really exaggerate the scene and key features of the photo.

Shoot 2 written evaluation -
In this shoot I really enjoyed shooting the landscape and I was very happy with the results of some close up shots and wide ranged photos. I shot in the morning which was the complete opposite time of day compared to my last shoot. I did this so that I could capture the morning fog as I know at home it looks lovely in the early morning on the mountain. I used this time of day to my advantage and got photos with dew on it, the water drops were a highlight in this shoot too. This time I really learnt a lot about my camera, and I found that it would in fact be easier to use my own camera in terms of being able to use it whenever and not having to book the camera from school. I really enjoyed this shoot and next time I will try photographing at midday investigated shadows and lines.
What was the focus of this shoot?
The focus of this shoot was to recreate images using the class provided artist model Andre Kertez. This is my second try at this shoot. He showed ideas involving still life, black and white, strategic placing of objects to highlight key parts to an image using leading lines + shadows.
I was in the closed work shed at home for this shoot, I used a painting light for the shadows as it was easily adjustable.

In this shoot I really enjoyed experimenting under shadows in a controlled environment, it was new and interesting for me. It worked realy well, although it may have been easier to get somebody to hold the light for me.

This went ok, I tried my best to incorporate my family into this shoot and some worked but I feel the idea wasn't very clear from an outsiders perspective.
What was the focus of this shoot?
The focus of this shoot was to investigate artist model Andre Kertez and his ideas of Shadows and leading lines. I wanted to try Natural and artificial light.

Shoot 5 written evaluation -
Although this shoot did not represent artist model Andre Kertez's work, I still made some good images that created new ideas for me. I quite liked the natural light look. After creating a board layout using shoots 1, 2, 3, 5, I decided there was not a clear idea and my work was not flowing. I will begin a new Idea from shoot 4 and shoot 6, using Farm to Table as my main idea. I think this will work well and some of these photos from this shoot (shoot 5) give a very clear idea for me. I can now investigate deeper into developing this idea.
