Learning camera and software skills - photographic conventions
Learning about artist models and how to apply to own work - established practice.
For my theme this year I had organically chosen to do cars like drift cars. but throughout the first term, I found that it was too hard to do as I would have to go to Hampton Downs every weekend and with working all weekends it just didn't work. So I decided to choose hunting, hunting was a way better and more practical choice because my family is very big on hunting and will always have hunting materials around me. when doing my shoots it took me a lot longer to figure out the camera than I had expected, but now at the end of the year I have got much more of a grasp on it and know how to change how much light comes in and all of that kind of stuff.
All contact sheets you create will be uploaded to your folder in Drive and you will also have a back up of all your images
You need to get into the habit of generating a contact sheet straight away after a shoot. You will not go through and rate, edit or delete images from these contact sheets. Only delete if they are black.
These contact sheets will contain everything that you have photographed will be included even mistakes / failures. Mistakes/failures in an Art course are a good thing and all help towards the evidence you need for you NCEA assessments.
'Please regularly upload your un-editied contact sheet into your Google Drive folder you created in your Photograph folder. Name the file for each contact the name of the shoot.
