The shoot went well, I got some good photos that link together my model & my mirror pictures from shoot 2, and my glass and deck photos from shoot 1. They also do well to set the scene for my folio board as some establishing pictures. However, a lot of my photos (seen in contact sheet) weren't the best exposed due to the changing conditions - clouds kept going in front of and not in front of the sun. This made me have to be constantly changing the camera settings and using trial and error to get the best exposure (which is understandable). What was disappointing is that I did not get as many good photos as I wanted, as a lot of the still life photos without my model were not very interesting and/or not the best quality. Next time, I would get a few more artist models to generate ideas for poses with my model, and more ideas for interesting still life shots.

The shoot went awesome! I really enjoyed it, it was heaps of fun to do and I got a lot of really cool photos. It did well as a filler still life shoot (as I couldn't shoot with my model as she was too busy), and also worked well to extend my idea. Some of them turned out slightly overexposed/underexposed as I was in the photo studio using the studio lights, and was adjusting the lighting slightly - meaning I was adjusting the settings after those weirdly lighted photos. As well as this, the container I was using to have the flowers in wasn't the biggest, so the container can be seen in some of the photos which is not ideal (and annoying). A downside was that the shoot was slightly repetitive - there wasn't much variation between photos apart from the colouring and some individual flower shots. Next time, I would bring in some more objects rather than just flowers in order to make it more interesting and add some variation between pictures.

The shoot went awesome and I really enjoyed using the macro lens. I got some amazing close ups of the insides of the flowers and of bubbles, which look really cool on my folio. The Jerry Takigawa inspired photos also did well to link together my 2 boards, as well as the flowers and the dye. What was a little disappointing was that I ran out of time at the end to do more experimenting with the distorted objects behind the glasses, and they didn't turn out quite as good as I was hoping. Next time I think I would have brought more objects than just flowers to use for the Jerry Takigawa photos and the distortion photos, and maybe experiment a little less as it meant I ran out of time.

I think the shoot went alright, but definitely not as well as I had hoped. I got some good shots out of it, especially of the photos being submerged & the dye looked very cool when it wasn't mixed in. The distortion behind the glasses was okay, but I couldn't figure out how to make it a bit more creative, so the pictures were a bit repetitive. I was a bit annoyed because the lights weren't quite working right, and I had to just guess at the right camera settings to get a properly exposed photo - of which a majority weren't so I had to go back and brighten them in photoshop. However, as a whole I got some really good photos that link together my first board and second board, so I am pretty happy with it. Next time, I would bring in a few more objects related to my theme to photograph behind the glasses rather than just flowers, and maybe use a few different colours of dye to make it more interesting.
