My idea for this shoot was to photograph different angles and viewpoints of parts of the car. I wanted to experiment with taking photos from a higher angle and a lower angle. I played around with different focal points, and certain parts of the car.

What worked?
changing my theme was what worked best for me to gain new and better ideas. It helped think of better ways to do things and i had more access to fishing objects rather than car objects.
What didn't, how could this be improved?
I could improve on better angles and different things to photograph next time. Different distances and focal points to make it different and more interesting.
What are you going to do next time to extend your idea?
find new objects, play around with different angles and distances, and use a different setting/background. I want to experiment with photographing in the studio more too.

What worked?
what worked for me was the photographs outside. I also really enjoyed playing around with different focal points and angles.
What didn't, how could this be improved?
I could improve on fixing the exposure on the camera when photographing inside. Some of my images came out very blurry too due to shutter speed not set correctly. I can improve this by learning how to be more familiar with the camera settings.
What are you going to do next time to extend your idea?
play around with more flat lay. I also want to learn how to control the camera better so I end up with clearer and better photos.

Idea
Irving Penn was my artist model. My idea for this shoot was to expand on my last one and play around with flat lay. I think the end result of this was very effective. It is a simple but effective technique.

The set up of the still life / flat lay worked really well for me. The colour contrast I chose looked really good together I thought.
What didn't, how could this be improved?
I could improve on using different objects and setting up a different lay out.
What are you going to do next time to extend your idea?
I am going to play around with more objects and usage of different colours. Overall i think this shoot was very good and i really enjoyed it.

The set up of the flat lay worked really well for me. I liked the effect of the shells and the lay out.
What didn't, how could this be improved?
I could improve on using different objects and setting it up differently to get a different effect. I could also improve on using a different background/ different image.
What are you going to do next time to extend your idea?
I am going to use a different background and try using different objects.
