Reflection-
Kenneth Josephen has taught me that we can use old pictures as a window in modern life to gain knowledge from past generations. I learnt that not all pictures need to have entirely new ideas to be impactful on the audience.
My best image
Aaron Siskind taught me how much texture can convey a story, and the beauty of black and white images. After doing this work, I would like to replicate some of his work in my own photography, as they look very professional and are a contrast to other things I may include.
My joiner
David Hockney has showen my that sometimes we need to take multiple images to see the full picture. His style is very creative and one I would likely not have thought of if not for this activity.
His work
My work:
First photo - Background in focus
Second photo - Both in focus
Third photo - Foreground in focus

This work simulates the styles of Mark Adams and David Hillard. Both of these artists use a multitude of images side by side but each utilizes a different depth of field to create a 3D feel to the images. For my own work I took 4 different photos each with differing subjects in focus, and then put them together using Lightroom to adjust them and also to join them.
