With this being my first ever board layout there is a lot that I could have improved.
I think that the board is way too crowded so I need to lose a few photos and highlight some of my better images. There is a line of 9 images that are way too small and you can't see the details, it would be a good idea if I just use the narrative part as an individual row.
I also need to work on having rows and not just random photos everywhere.

I think I had a good idea of how to layout all my photos but I just need to work on how it flows.
I went through and figured out a good plan on how I can improve my board for the layout.
the narrative part of the board should be touching and no white gaps.
2 August
I am starting to understand more about how to layout my boards and try new things even if I don't think it all goes together.
I need to join a few shoots together like the ice, stacking blocks and flowers so in class I will continue to do this.
3 August
I got feedback on my board layout.
I need to extend the ice and beads idea by using lighting and closeups.
More blocks but use more of my subject matter ie. fan, dried flowers, wooden beads.
wrapping objects with hessian could look good
Overall board 1 is looking really good i just need to work on board 2.
10 August
Today I worked on adding in some of the new photos that I shot. I like how I have arranged them but I'm not sure if they work with my board and complement it. Once I do a couple more shoots and add them to my board I think that it will look really good.
15 August
I removed a couple of images and replaces them with others. I now need to work on what my final idea is for my folio board.
24 August
I have added a few photos of my new photos and taken out photos that weren't as good. I still need to add in more images to finish both of my boards to a high standard.
Self Critique:
I need to find a new artist model to find a whole new idea to finish my board.
Remove common images that are the same.
Enlarge and change images.
I added in my grid of images that I got inspiration from my artist model and then added some newer images as well from the shoot I just did.
