Idea's and planning
To photograph in the style of Andre Kertesz I had to experiment with lighting to create strong shadows and draw the eye to the object (s) in the image. I trialed with many different objects to try and get strong shadows, I think it was successful but I could've tried with better objects and tried other theme.
Evaluation
I think the lighting worked really well because It resulted in really heavy shadows and darker images. Something I think didn't work as well is that all of my images are very similar and I think I should've tried something different to create some variety in the shoot other than most images being very similar. This could've been improved in using some different objects or even trialing a different theme instead of everything being the same. Next time I do a still-life shoot I would look more into other themes I could do because I found the shoot I did very boring and I definitely think I could do better and I think I should think of something busy and different to photograph. However this shoot failed due to it not fitting with my theme of nature and the environment. this meant that this shoot could not be used on my board at all. I could extend the my still-life idea by adding more objects from my first shoot ( e.g. A fern or leaves etc) or photographing other objects instead of the same ones over and over again.

Shoot 3 inspiration - Edward Steichen
I chose Edward Steichen as my shoot 3 inspiration because I really liked this photo where he used a patterned lace in front of the face of his model. The lace helped to shape the women's face and made her eyes stand out among the lace flowers.
