Shoot 5
Ideas and Artist models
Mark Adams
-He is a landscape photographer
-I would like to try to do an established shot in my portfolio board, where I take a photo of the farm and another photo right next to it. This will mean I will have a big photo of the farm split into two/three parts.
-I like how the image is split up showing a wide shot of the land scape.
Jay Metzker
-Inspiration of lighting, leading lines.
-I like how he uses the light to show a dark figure and then the shadows show a light figure
-I would like to try to use shadows and lighting in my shoot 5. I can use the sky roofing in the old shed or use bright lights to highlight a center object.

Mark Adams Landscape of my work
Shoot 5 evalutation
From my shoot 5, I really liked using the landscape photos that can be split into two, But I found that it was hard to match up the photos and that they weren't a very interesting view for the photos. In future photo shoots, I think I would try use a tripod to make sure the photos match up, and I would also try to take photos with a water feature (pond, river) or even the sunset or sunrise on the land.
I also like the idea of the cows in the yard and the photos of the loading ramp with the cows in the background. I think I could expand this idea and use it in my photography board.

-I like the idea of using the water to reflect the objects and colours
-I could use a puddle to reflect the farm objects in my shoots.

Neroli Nolan
-frosty weather, orange colouring
-I like how the cow is standing there off to the side, I would like to use a shot like this on my board.
Evaluation of shoot 6
-I was supposed to try to focus this shoot on just shadows and try to get some sunrise or sunset shots of the landscapes. But I wasn't able to as I wasn't home during those times.
-I got a clear shot with good lighting as I did it on a clear day in the morning, I liked the ideas of the shadows and photographs of the cow yards.
-I would like to do another shoot, get the frosty mornings or sunsets over the landscape, and use these artist models to the best I can.
-I also want to get more photos of the cows and get more precise and more ideal images for my board of them, maybe get different photos of other animals as well.

Evaluation of shoot 7
-I like the sunset and sunrise effect on the photos and feel it brings a new contrast to my photos, I think it will tie in great with the red colouring or the bikes at the start of my folio board.
-I liked using the Mark Adams artist model on the outside of the shed by focusing on the structure and colouring behind the shed.
-I liked the inside of the shed and exploring that more some of the photos are just under or over exposed.

Shoot 8 Location - Raglan/Shed/Dio school
Ideas
-I want to redo my still life with Jerry Takigawa and Irving Penn. My photos from my earlier shoots were very weak and didn't have the best outcome.
-I want to try to do some still life in the shed and explore the inside of the wool shed, and use my black and white photos as a background for some more still life either at school or home.
-I want to expand my still life for my folio board and 2.2 and 2.3 assessment.

Evaluation of shoot 8
-I think this still life went better than before and I had more time to try different things such as going in the shed and placing things around the shed but I wish I did more with new and other objects with more colour.
-I liked the Jerry Takigawa photos and the shadows from the objects. The contrast on the green grass behind the photo was a good idea because most of the objects I was using were dark colours and didn't bring any flavour.
