Hello and welcome to 8th Grade!

I'm Mr. Gibbons and I am in my 34th year of teaching math (yes, I'm that old).  I taught 6 years at Maple Dale Middle School in Fox Point, WI, and this is my 28th year in the WDP district - many years at the high school and many years now here at the middle school.  I also coach 8th-grade football and help direct the MS Musical. I have 4 kids who attended/attend our amazing district - Olivia is finishing up Grad School, Jack (Senior at Oshkosh), Amelia (Junior at Stevens Point), and Joseph (Freshman at NWTC) are all in college. My wife, Elizabeth, also works here at WDP Middle School as a Special Education teacher. 

In 2012, I was named a "Golden Apple Teacher of Distinction" (Green Bay Chamber of Commerce), and in 2014, I was fortunate enough to win the "Golden Apple Award" (Green Bay Chamber of Commerce) when I was teaching at both the high school and middle school.

This year, I teach four Math 8 classes and two Math 1 classes (Integrated Algebra).
