Hello and Welcome to 7th Grade Language Arts! This class, which is structured as an 84 minute block, centers around the four pillars of our language: Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. The foundation of the curriculum is the Units of Study model, specific to Reading (Historical Fiction, Investigating Characterization, Novels in Verse) and Writing (Realistic Fiction, Essential Research Skills/Informational Writing, Argumentative Writing, Poetry). 

A few random bullet points about me:

• I have two children, Sullivan (9) and Hudson (7)

• I have a Chocolate Lab named Cedrick (I love dogs!!!)

• This school year marks my eleventh teaching in West De Pere
