Hello and welcome to 4K!

Hello, my name is Mrs. Kristy Dugre and I am so excited to begin this school year with you!  I truly enjoy everything about the Early Childhood classroom and look forward to getting to know your 4 year old!

I received my teaching degree in Education with a minor in Early Childhood from St. Norbert College.  I taught half day and full day Kindergarten in Appleton before deciding to stay home with my children for a few years.  Then I was fortunate enough to become a part of West De Pere’s new 4K program in 2008…which I am very proud to be a part of and excited to welcome your family to!

My husband Jeff and I have 6 kids who have all grown up and are out on their own.  We enjoy living in West De Pere…we just might see you out and about!  I enjoy walking, thrifting, and going up north to our cottage in the Northwoods!  

My goal as your child’s teacher is to provide a fun, safe, and loving environment where learning can happen through play and discovery.  I enjoy incorporating a strong sense of classroom community and Sign Language into everyday learning.  I believe that parents are partners in education and want to establish a relationship with each and every one of you.
