Welcome, families!

Hello! My name is Carly Shier. As a 2009 West De Pere High School alum, I am so proud to be teaching at Hemlock Creek! I have an undergraduate degree from UW-Green Bay in Human Development and Psychology. After working in an in-home therapy setting for 5 years, I began my Special Education teaching career in 2017. I joined the Hemlock Creek staff in 2018.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, dancing, kayaking, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and doing crossword puzzles.

My classroom environment is built around kindness and laughter, and I love being able to share that with my students.
