Welcome, families!

My name is Carly Shier. As a 2009 West De Pere High School alum, I am so proud to be teaching at Hemlock Creek! I have an undergraduate degree from UW-Green Bay in Human Development and Psychology. After working in an in-home therapy setting for 5 years, I obtained my teaching license and began teaching Special Education in 2017. I joined the Hemlock Creek staff in 2018.

I am passionate about social-emotional learning and increasing accessibility for all students. In 2024, I received a Golden Apple Award from the Greater Green Bay Chamber.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, dancing, kayaking, listening to audiobooks, and doing crossword puzzles.
