Dear 7A students and parents,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Kathryn Drewes, and I’m happy to introduce myself and welcome your students as they begin seventh grade. This marks my 25th year teaching language arts at WDMS, with seventh grade being my “home” for 22 of those years.
The handbook below provides essential information about my class and includes resources to help both you and your student navigate some of the technology we will be using throughout the school year. I encourage you to review the handbook and reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification.
My goal is to support every student in developing skills for academic success and growth beyond the classroom. I believe the most positive learning experiences come from strong partnerships between parents, students, and teachers, and I look forward to collaborating with you this year.
