Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Missy Hernandez, and I am thrilled to be your child’s third grade teacher. This is my fourth year in West Deptford and my ninth overall as an educator. As a proud Rowan University alumni, I have recently returned to further my education. I live in Mullica Hill with my husband and our two boys—Axton (8) and Luca (4). We love the holiday season and all the festive activities it brings. We also enjoy hiking, swimming, and going to the movies together. Our home wouldn’t be complete without our two fur babies, Cheddar and Myrtle!

As a teacher, I strive to build strong and caring relationships, encourage creativity, and maintain a healthy digital balance. I work to help students build stamina, develop a love for learning, and feel valued within our classroom community. I look forward to making this year in West Deptford a memorable one!

Most supplies have already been provided by the school. Below is a list of additional needed items. Please label your child's headphones and folder with their first and last name. All other items do not need to be labeled.
