2025 Message from Head Coach John Emel

Wishing the 2025 Football Team a safe and successful season. This group has worked extremely hard since late November 2024 to develop into a product that will be a source of tremendous pride for the community. We have had a great offseason. Highlights include: over 20 players being active members in the legendary 1000 pound club; several visits this past spring to colleges in the area including Temple and Monmouth, and our annual team camp trip to James Madison/Virginia Tech that resulted in so many positive memories both on and off the playing field. Our time together in the BFC, July team camp, and the 7v7 Passing League w/ Big Man Camp have prepared us very well for this upcoming season. Continue to pray and support these young men for if we remain mentally and physically healthy we are ready for a very special season.

Special thanks to the district and high school administration, the parents, and the community for being so supportive of the football program. Wishing our eight seniors the best on their final year at WDHS. Let's make this a GREAT season.
