Coaches' Letter
WELCOME TO WOODBURY CENTRAL!!
Here are some vital pieces of information.
PLEASE USE THE CHANGE FORM ON THE IHSSA website for any title changes, substitutions or drops.
PLEASE park buses at the far end of the parking lot. Use the east and south doors for entry. All other doors will be locked.
Contest headquarters will be in the main office off of the commons area. Please check in when your school arrives. If you need assistance throughout the day, start there.
Ratings and announcements will be posted on TVs in the common areas and the wall in the gym.
Please make copies of your schedule and give your school number to your parents. There are several people who don’t have the correct information about their student, and become frustrated with people at the table because that information is not available. We will be selling programs with maps for $1.00.
Don’t forget you ballots. You may purchase ballots from the office if you should forget.
PLEASE... remind your students and their parents not to wear any clothing that is school related.
NO PHOTOGRAPHS OR VIDEOTAPING....NO EXCEPTIONS UNLESS PREVIOUSLY ALLOWED BY THE STATE OFFICE!!!
New this year: Trigger Warning. If you have a piece that includes violence, language, sexual content; please put a sticky note on your ballot so that the room chair can make an annnouncement so people with small children may leave the room.
Remind students and parents to turn off their cell phones and pagers.
Students are to keep their things in the gym and not in the commons to relieve congestion.
Concessions will be available at the school. This is our only fundraiser so encourage your students to eat at the school. Please keep food and drinks in the commons, not in the gym.
Cancellation will appear on the website. We will plan to hold contest or start late unless the weather is REALLY terrible.
There will be tables at the entrance asking for a $3.00 donation. Please tell your parents and other spectators that they will be asked for this donation.
