I have been teaching science since 2008. I have been at Waterloo HS since 2016. I have experience teaching biology, chemistry, physics, physical science, and Earth and Space Science.
I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in chemistry with a specialization in forensics from SIU-Carbondale and a Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership from McKendree University.
In 2014 I was a finalist for Illinois Teacher of the Year and was recognized as the Sparta VFW Teacher of the Year.
I am originally from Anna, Illinois but currently reside in Waterloo with my husband, Josh, and 15-year old son, Jackson.
