Nino is a child who is in a zone of play. He is using his imagination the whole story. In his mind he is a wrestler, but is not wrestling any ordinary foes. Each for represents something from the Mexican culture. He plays games with these foes and wins each time, until the end. At the end of the story he has to vs. his siblings which he can't win because they tickle him, so he makes them join him to take on all comers.

Olmec in the Mexican culture are large heads made of boulders made in 900 BC from the Olmec civilization of ancient Mesoamerica.
The page is very bright colors
The stars at the top are bright. They are also red and green which are the colors of the Mexican flag.
The word Krunch is big, bright, and bolded. This is showing onomatopoeia and is a dramatic sound. Krunch is also surrounded by pointy shapes, like in the comic books. This most likely represents movement.
Nino and Olmec are in the center of the page, this shows great tension between them. It is also the center of attention. Olmec is also extremely large on the page, but Nino is more powerful.

There is also a very colorful puzzle at the bottom of the page. The brighter the colors, the more safe and happy they seem. Also the puzzle being at the bottom makes it feel more grounded.

Nino is at the very top of the page. The upper half of the page represents freedom, happiness, and feels more spiritual.
All of ninos toys are colrful and at the bottom. They toys feel more grounded, down to earth, and less mobile.

Since the mummy is dead he is brown. Darker colors represent mysterious, scary, or uncomfortable feelings.
Behind the mummy is pointy exaggerative shapes. This represents movement and brings attention to him.
The mummy also has speech bubbles. The words in the speech bubbles are squiggly so you can hear it in a certain voice. Most likely it's supposed to sound like Zombie or sounds of the dead.
