Manufacturing is undergoing a data-driven transformation—Manufacturing Analytics is at the heart of this revolution. This workshop introduces students to the exciting intersection of data science and industrial operations, focusing on how analytics is used to optimize processes, enable predictive maintenance, and ensure quality control in real-world manufacturing environments. MANGO (Manufacturing Analytics Navigating Growth and Opportunities) is a flow-based data science platform designed for scalable and modular manufacturing analytics. It uses independent functional blocks—such as data input, processing, and decision-making—that can be visually connected into flows to build complete analytical pipelines. Each block has defined inputs and outputs, allowing for easy customization and reusability. The platform supports real-time data ingestion, model training, and deployment, enabling efficient monitoring, predictive maintenance, and process optimization. MANGO’s cloud-integrated architecture makes it ideal for accelerating digital transformation in smart manufacturing environments. The workshop is designed to equip students with practical skills in processing real industrial data, applying computer vision, and building scalable workflows for manufacturing use cases.
