  • Joyce Yoo Babbitt (Ms. Joyce) is the Library Media Specialist for three of our WCSU elementary schools. She will encourage our students in their reading by providing book recommendations on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Feel free to reach her at jbabbitt@wcsu.net for book suggestions.

BOOK PROGRAMS

Woodstock Elementary School participates in The Red Clover Book Award is designed for children in kindergarten through fourth grade. Each year thousands of Vermont school children read the 10 nominated picture books and vote for their favorite in the spring. (VT Dept. of Libraries)

Reading is an Investment is a program sponsored by the Vermont State Treasurer’s Department. This program promotes the teaching of personal finance to elementary school children by providing quality children's books that explore financial subjects. (Office of the State Treasurer)
