The media center at Westside Middle School strives to provide the resources teachers and students need to be as efficient and effective at teaching and learning as possible. We work to be service-oriented and try to empower those whom we assist to be self-sufficient in order for them to become confident in their abilities to learn and grow on their own.

Media Center Information

• We are open daily from 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

• Students may visit daily with teacher permission.

• Students are encouraged to select books based on interests or class/content requirements.

• Two books at a time may be checked out to individual students.

• Books may be checked out for a two-week period. Lost or damaged books must be paid for before the end of the year.

• Please complete a book request form for titles the media center does not have.

• Students may place a hold for books that are checked out. Once the book has been returned, the student will be notified and must pick up the book within 3 days.

• Computers and reference materials are available to complete research or other academic projects individually or as a class.
