Mission Statement
The mission for the Westside Elementary school counseling program is to support students in achieving academic, social, and emotional success. The program will advocate for the students at W.E.S to achieve lifelong learning and success through the use of a comprehensive school counseling program that targets three domains including academic, social, and emotional support. To address the three domains, this program will utilize a variety of developmentally appropriate interventions such as individual counseling, small groups and classroom guidance lessons.
Vision Statement
The vision statement for the Westside Elementary School counseling program is to help instill in to the students at W.E.S the love of learning in order to achieve all of their educational plans. All students have the ability to learn and should have access to a safe, nurturing school environment with caring and supportive adults. It is the goal of this program to provide students with the tools and skills necessary to become healthy and responsible members of society.

Rocket P.R.I.D.E is a philosophy at Westside Elementary that our students demonstrate on a daily basis. We encourage our students to show each of the 5 character traits within our school and also within our community.
