Mrs. Etling holds a dual Bachelors in English Literature and English Education, and a dual Masters in School Library Media and Instructional Technology. This is her tenth year in education.

Mrs. Etling believes the school library is a place for students and staff to explore, create, grow, and connect. In cultivating a strong culture of literacy and inquiry, she hopes to promote the foundational skills by which all learning stems at VPM. She is passionate in her pursuit of creating lifelong readers.

Mrs. Etling enjoys reading, adventures, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two cats.

Mrs. April is the media clerk at Valley Point Middle School. She is a native of Dalton, Georgia, and an alumnus of VPM and Southeast High School. She is married with two beautiful children who are students in Whitfield County Schools. In her spare time, she enjoys coaching many sports at VPM.
