Core Values

This year it’s been a very exciting one, we’ve learned a lot about each other, we’ve overcome challenges as a team, but also as a family; we are proud to be in “One Giant Leap”, a team that no only takes care of everyone to do their work, but also to make everyone feel comfortable doing it.

Some of us went to design engineering manufacturing (DEM) camp this summer, we learned how tournaments are like and we also were a little more prepared for tournaments.

We are a team that points out everyone’s talents and makes them do their best, we are very active, we even have after school practices to make sure we are on our way to our best effort, we care about each other.

This year we went to Alabama Space Camp, we learned a lot about space history, and we also got into simulations of G-Force and Space shot, to see what do astronauts have to deal with when they go to space.

Our main focus on this year’s project was the loss of bone density, we learned how important it is to exercise to keep a balance on our bone mineral density.

We also came up with the boredom in space, that’s why we designed “Space Slam”, it’s a very fun activity that solves both of the problems, bone density and boredom.
