Hours:
Library Hours are open from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM.
Students come to the library every other week as a class for lessons and to check out as a group. They are also allowed with their teacher's permission to come on an individual basis as needed during our Open Checkout times.
Checkouts Allowed:
Kindergarten - 1 Book
2nd Grade - 2 Books
3rd-5th Grades - 3 books
Overdue Books:
Students will receive a verbal or written notification if they have an overdue book each time they check out books.
Damaged Books:
If a book is returned damaged beyond repair, students will be responsible for payment of the book. Books that need to be replaced may have these issues:Excessive pages ripped
Missing pages
Excessively marked up
Spine is damaged beyond normal wear and tear
Book is water damaged/stained
If the book is repairable, the student will be assessed a fine:
Ripped pages that can be repaired: 5% of the cost of the book
Writing on inside of the book that doesn’t affect the reading of the book: 5% of the cost of the book
End of the School Year: All books are due back by the end of the school year. Any lost books or damaged books need to be paid for before the school year ends.
