Coach Carter World History
Class overview
Our History classes are designed to acquaint students with the broad culture/society of which they are apart. By studying historical events and various cultures from around the globe and here at home in the United States, a student will gain a more diverse understanding of the world we live in, and varying world views.
About me
Hello, my name is Michael Carter. I am a native of Englewood, TN, and a graduate of McMinn Central High School. I played college baseball at Chattanooga State and West Alabama before completing my degree at UT-Chattanooga. I am currently completing my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University. I am entering my 16th year of teaching and coaching baseball. Prior to working at Coahulla Creek in 2019, I taught at Polk County High School and Franklin County High School in Tennessee.
