BATTLE OF THE BOOKS

Battle of the Books meets every other week, from October through March.  The librarians from both WJH and VW choose four titles that students will read throughout the school year, to have a culminating battle between schools sometime in March.  The books change every year.

Students come to the library, bring their lunches (whether from home or purchased at school), discuss various portions of the chosen books, participate in contests, oftentimes winning prizes (!), and Mrs. Green LOVES to hear from the students about each of the books.
