About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Keila Yerks, and I am so excited to be part of this wonderful school community. Last year, I had the pleasure of working as a student teacher in both 2nd and 6th grade at Myers. 

I graduated with a bachelor's in Early Childhood/Childhood Education with a concentration in History from SUNY New Paltz. 

In my first year of teaching, I am committed to creating a fun and engaging classroom environment where every student can thrive.

Outside of teaching, my husband and I love doing outdoor activities with our two sons and our wacky dog, Luna
