Coping Skills

 Coping skills are healthy tools or strategies that helps someone deal with stressful situations.  

There are 4 main types of coping skills:

1-Calming Skills- Yoga, Mindfulness strategies, Deep breathing

2-Distracting Skills-Word searches, puzzle workbooks, Sudoku 

3-Physical Skills- Jumping jacks, walking, running, playing a sport

4-Thinking Skills- reframing thoughts to see the positives, thinking of how to handle worrisome situations ahead of time, Pros and Cons list.
