Always lots of books to share!
Hi everyone! I am so excited to welcome students back to the Myers Corners Library! Last year, we spent a significant amount of time reorganizing the space and making it easier to navigate. We have been able to add many new titles to our collection and can't wait to share them with the students!
About me: Last year was my first year at Myers. I spent the two years before that as the school librarian at Sheafe Road Elementary, and the seven years before that as a special education Teaching Assistant at Fishkill Elementary. My husband and I have been married for 32 years and have three adult sons: David (29), Michael (26), and Derek (21). We also share custody of a sweet one-year-old cat named Oatmeal with our middle son (meaning she travels back and forth between New York and Pennsylvania often)! When I'm not doing library things, I like to spend time with my family, scrapbook our memories, and of course, read. My favorite genre is realistic fiction, with historical fiction coming in a close second.
The Myers Corners Library is an exciting and busy place in our school! My goal is to help every student find books that will help them fall in love with reading! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. The easiest way to reach me is through e-mail at jennifer.diehl@wcsdny.org. You can also leave me a message at (845) 298-5260 X16015.
