I have been a teacher for 20 years!

I taught at Gayhead for about 10 years and Fishkill Plains for the Remainder of my career. 

I am a Wappingers Central Schools Grad! I went to Oak Grove, WJHS, Ketcham and then went to Marist and Mount Saint Mary College! 

In addition to our homeroom, I will be the Social Studies and Science teacher for 4th grade this year. 

I LOVE Social Studies and especially the 4th grade curriculum (The Revolution Is my JAM!).

When I am not teaching, I am hanging out with my hubby and dogs Pippa and Rue.I love to draw and watch reality tv.I also love hanging with my nephew Niko, who just turned 1! 

My husband and I are expecting a little girl In October/November of 2024 and can't wait to share that journey with you all this year!

Hi Fourth Grade Families! I am a graduate of the Wappingers School District. I attended Gayhead, Van Wyck, and John Jay. This is my 17th year teaching in the district. I attended Mount Saint Mary College for my undergraduate degree and Marist College for my graduate degree. I am also a history major and love learning about the past. I read a lot of historical fiction and love to learn about the Revolutionary War and WWII time periods. 

I am married to my husband, Chris, and we have two children, Jace and Maci. Jace is in 5th grade, and Maci is in 4th grade here at Fishkill Plains. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, watching my kids enjoy their various activities, going on adventures in our area, traveling, baking sourdough bread, and drinking tea. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year full of learning and fun memories!
