Brinckerhoff Concerts

Please understand that attendance and participation in our concerts is not optional. These are a required part of being a member of the Instrumental program. I ask that you respect the importance of these performance opportunities and make every effort to have your child participate fully. Any attendance issues must be brought to my attention ASAP.

5th Grade Band

Winter Informance: Brinckerhoff & Gayhead combined

Wed., January 11th, 2023 - 6 pm @ Van Wyck JHS.

Dress is “nice” casual. Students need to arrive at 5:40. Earlier is not necessary and your wait will be longer.

Music in Our Schools (MIOS) Concert: Wed., March 15th - 7pm @ John Jay HS

This concert includes performances from most grade levels of our district-wide Band program.

The 5th grade Band participation is not yet finalized.

It remains TBA at this time.

Spring Concert: Thurs., May 25th, 2023 at 6:00 pm - 6pm @ JJHS

Dress is “nice” casual.

Students need to arrive at 5:30. Earlier is not necessary and your wait will be longer.

6th Grade Band

Winter Concert:

Tues., December 13th - 6 pm @ John Jay HS (Snow date Thurs. Dec22!)

Dress is “nice” casual. Holiday colors encouraged!
