Math Team - open to any student with a goal of providing a venue in which students who enjoy math can participate in a competitive manner with other students sharing this interest on the local and state level. We compete in the DUSO Math League, a regional competition for high school students in Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, and Orange counties, that fosters mathematical abilities through various rounds of challenging problems in algebra, geometry and calculus. The league includes regular monthly meets, with practices held prior to each meet, culminating in a sectional championship where teams from across the four counties compete with top individuals qualifying for a New York State meet. Any questions should be directed to the advisor, Mrs. Deck (amanda.deck@wcsdny.org)
