As a parent or guardian, you may be wondering who I am. So let me tell you a little about myself...
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Elementary Education and received my Master's degree in Reading from Mercy College. I started my teaching career in Arizona where I taught second grade. I then moved to New York and have taught Kindergarten for the majority of my career.
I believe in a positive and safe classroom environment. I strive to create a classroom climate in which your child feels comfortable enough to take chances in. In addition to learning the curriculum my goal is to help your child become a well rounded, kind, and polite person.
When I am not at school, I enjoy relaxing with my husband and children, going to Lake George, boating, snowmobiling, hanging out with my family, and playing with my two German Shepherds.
Most importantly, I am looking forward to a fantastic year with your child!
