What is NJHS?
The National Junior Honor Society was established in 1929. NJHS is one of the nation’s premiere organizations established to recognize outstanding middle level students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character, and Citizenship.
Students that are accepted into NJHS should feel proud. You will be celebrated at an award ceremony in the Spring that your family can attend. At the Ceremony, you are acknowledged by name, and walk across the stage. You also receive a certificate.
NJHS is not a club that meets regularly after the ceremony. Please see "Important Dates" for more info.
