Dear Parents,

I hope you and your family are doing well. The purpose of this letter is to further explain my plan for the continuation of your child’s therapy program.

Listed below is some essential information that will help your child be successful as we embark on online learning:

I will have office hours from 12-1pm Monday through Friday. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and concerns through email. I can also set up a google meeting to answer any questions you might have during my office hours.

Please continue to view this google site weekly as I continually update it. In addition, I will be sending occupational therapy activities, worksheets, and resources specific to your child's goals through their teachers google classroom.

If you have any questions, please free to email me at Kari.foley@wcsdny.org

Please know that we are all in this together. We will learn and succeed by communicating and working as a team.

Respectfully,

Kari L. Foley, OTR/L

This will lead you to some fun little sensory motor books!

Great Movement Links!

Free fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual and sensory motor activities!

Great site to make paper toys....just print and enjoy. Fun for all ages.

One of the best things you can do is play games with your kids. Small motor games such as Operation, Bed Bugs, Candyland, Connect Four are just some ideas. Even playing a simple card game such as Uno or Go Fish helps kids to use their hands and improve dexterity.

For 90 days families can access the handwriting without tears handwriting curriculum at no cost! It is interactive, fun, and a lot of the lingo I use when I am teaching formation of letters. Also, you can access their keyboarding program for free!

Click on the positioning cards and open in a new tab. You can print out the cards if you like and are able.
