Link Crew
Built on the belief that students can help other students succeed, Link Crew trains members of the John Jay High School Junior and Senior classes to be Link Leaders. As positive role models, Link Leaders are motivated and caring mentors who guide freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school.
Link Leaders are trained to work with the incoming JJHS freshman class and other new students who are entering our school each fall. After extensive training, Link Leaders ran our Freshman Orientation before school started. At orientation, each Link Leader met their small group of freshmen and are asked to help support those freshmen during the school year with any challenges they may face. Every freshmen in our building has a Link Leader!!
