About the teacher

My name is Mrs. Jennifer Taylor!

I am the Literacy Specialist for the Academic Intervention Services (AIS) department here at Vassar Road School. My bachelor's degree is from SUNY Oneonta in Childhood Education (grades 1-6) and my Master's degree is from Mount Saint Mary's College in Literacy (Birth-6th grade). My passion has always been towards teaching children how to be efficient readers and writers. I feel very blessed to be doing just that!

I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy and a Wilson trained certified teacher (Level 1).

I work with grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade in the areas of reading and writing (ELA). You will be informed through a formal letter if I am seeing your child for academic intervention services.
