About me

Welcome to my web page! I am excited to be a second grade teacher at Brinckerhoff Elementary School! I am the mother of 3 adult kids, two girls and a boy. Previously, I have been a performing arts and music teacher, and I have taught students in fourth grade, fifth grade, first grade, and kindergarten. I have a BA in English and an MS in Early Childhood Education. I am NYS certified to teach birth through 6th grade and students with disabilities.

Room 7 is a fun, safe place to explore and grow. Here, each student is a valued contributing member of our learning community. Kindness is paramount, and we are not afraid to make mistakes, because that's how we learn!

I love to read, take care of my chickens, and go hiking with my dog, Forrest. Look for me the next time you are out on the trail!
