My name is Jessica Munroe, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I was born and raised in the Bronx and have always been passionate about education and building strong connections with my community. Outside of the classroom, I’m married, a proud mom of two wonderful children, and we have a playful Cavapoo named Kingston. I enjoy being outdoors, drinking Dunkin Donuts coffee, spending time with family, and of course, teaching!

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Iona College (now Iona University) and my master’s degree from Lehman College, both in Elementary and Special Education. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and I truly value the importance of communication and collaboration with families.

This year marks my 12th year in the classroom, and I am looking forward to making it the best one yet! My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive academically and socially. I can’t wait to get to know your children and partner with you to make this a successful and joyful school year full of learning, growth, and strong home-school connections.
