Hi, my name is Mrs. Hyland and I will be teaching fifth grade for the 2023-2024 school year. This is my 21st year teaching at Brinckerhoff. For 12 years I taught AIS to 4th and 5th graders at Brinckerhoff before teaching fifth grade. I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education at SUNY Cortland and received my Masters degree in Literacy from Fordham University.
I have one son that will be nine in November. His name is Brenden. My daughter Kylah will be six years old in April. Mr Hyland is a fourth grade teacher at Gayhead. Both children bring such joy and happiness in our lives! In my free time I love to read, shop, and travel. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to another fantastic and successful school year with my students!
