Hi there! My name is Breanna Eckroth, and I am so excited to be your teacher for the 2025-2026 school year! This will be my 7th year teaching in Wappingers and my third year teaching at Wappingers Junior High School. After graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh, I began teaching Special Education at Astor Learning Center in Rhinebeck, NY. I then completed a Leave Replacement, in Second Grade at Marlboro Elementary School. Before coming to WJHS, I taught at Brinckerhoff Elementary and Fishkill Elementary!Â

I am Poughkeepsie native, and a lover of all things food, Disney and sloths. When I am not teaching, you can find me with my family exploring the beautiful Hudson Valley. I am lucky enough to be with my best friend Dan and my stepson Ethan. Together we have a fur baby, Nova.
