Meet the Teacher

Hello 3rd Grade Families! 

     My name is Mrs. Cannizzaro and I am so excited to be your child's teacher! I cannot wait to celebrate all of the goals your child is going to reach this year. Before we get the chance to formally meet, I would like to share with you a little bit about me! 

     I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education and a master's degree in Literacy Education. I began the first year of my career teaching 2nd grade in the Bronx, New York. I was then given the opportunity to teach at Oak Grove and this will be my 7th year here. I taught 1st grade for 6 years and I am delighted to be teaching 3rd this year!
