Meet the Teacher

A little bit about me...

I was born and raised in Clinton Corners, NY and graduated from Millbrook Highschool. I attended Chesnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA where I played Division Two Women's Lacrosse and graduated with my degree in Early Childhood Education. This is also where I met my husband, Tim! We have been married for three years this October and have one beautiful daughter named Ava. 

My teaching journey began in the School District of Philadelphia, where I taught first grade for the last seven years. I also got my master's from Holy Family University in Education focused in Literacy and became a certified Reading Specialist during this time. I am so excited to be back in the Hudson Valley and to be at Oak Grove for my eighth year of teaching, and look forward to getting to know your family and your children this school year and beyond!
