Classroom expectations:

• Be patient! Please raise your hand and wait to be called on in class. There is 1 teacher and 1 assistant teacher to help everyone, so please be patient. We want to hear what everyone has to say.

• Be prepared! Please come to class with your Chromebook, charger, science notebook, folder and sharpened pencils.

• Be productive! Please be actively engaged in daily lessons and conversations. Complete your assignments in class or finish them for homework. 

• Be prompt! Please come to class on time. Students should be seated and ready to begin class when the bell rings.

• Be proud! Always do you best work. Take pride in your work and only turn in work you tried your best on and are proud of. 

In addition, all students are also expected to:

• Be respectful! Please be respectful at all times to your peers and teachers in the classroom. You can expect the same in return.

• Speak kindly! No insults allowed. Please do not insult anyone for any reason in the classroom. Insults will never be tolerated! 

• Use positive words! No cursing allowed. Students are to refrain from cursing in class. Foul language will not be tolerated for any reason in the classroom.

Students are expected to follow the WCSD Code of Conduct regarding use of cellular devices:

• Please keep cellular devices powered off and out of site during class time, as per school policy. If students cannot keep phones off and out of site, then the phone should be left in the student's locker or at home.  Parents will be made aware if cell phone usage is an ongoing issue in class.

Other general reminders: 

• Please seek teacher help if you are falling behind or need help in any area. I am always available and willing to help for any reason. Just ask or stop by my classroom! 

• Please remember to access the Guidance Office, Ms. Barca's Office (School Social Worker)and Administrative Offices for support with personal matters or school concerns if you have them.

Extra help is always available.

My classroom is intended to be a safe, supportive and welcoming learning environment. My goal is for students to strive to reach their fullest potential while staying curious about the world around them!
