I have been a teacher for the past 27 years. 23 of those years have been spent as a special education teacher and 4 as a family and consumer science teacher. I hold degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Mount Saint Mary College, and Syracuse University. I am proud to say that in 2019 I became a National Board Certified Teacher.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, my 2 children, and my 3 dogs. I also like to sew, read, garden, cook, and play word games.
