Meet Mrs. Fringuello

Hello and welcome to fifth grade!

Here is a little bit about me...

This will be my 25th year in the district! I earned my bachelor's degree in Literature and Rhetoric from Binghamton University while playing on both the soccer and softball teams.  Then I worked at a research and investment firm in NYC. Realizing that wasn't my niche, I returned to college to pursue education (I always loved playing "school" as a kid!). I attended Mt. St. Mary College and earned a dual Master's Degree in Elementary and Special Education.  I started my teaching career at  a preschool for children with various abilities.  Soon afterward, I was hired by Wappingers. I started at Evans working with a class of 13 students. Next, I transferred to Myers Corners as a special education teacher in 5th grade. Finally, I made a switch to a 5th grade general education position where I have remained for the last 23 years.  😊 I have worked very closely with my fifth grade team over the years. I will be working with my 5th grade colleagues to plan lessons and fun activities. I look forward to meeting all of our Myers' families and making the most out of the time we have together!

My mission is for us to try our best and have fun! Mistakes keep us learning! Having a positive mindset is the key to success. Let's trade our "This is too hard" for "This may be hard, but I'll keep trying".

Oh, how could I forget?? I have an awesome husband who is a special education teacher and an incredible 12 year old son! Oh, and we have a 1 year old puppy, Luna. I am sure you will hear a lot of stories about both of them! I look forward to hearing your stories, too!

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you prefer to chat, email me with your number, and I will give you a call. This is a team effort, and I will do whatever it takes to make it successful.
