Mrs. Butler
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Mrs. Butler. This is my 16th year teaching here at Brinckerhoff and I couldn’t be any happier about it! To tell you a little bit about myself, aside from teaching, I enjoy reading, dancing, going to the movies and spending time with my family. I have a 9 year old son named Landon, who is just starting fourth grade, and a five year old daughter, Harper who is starting kindergarten this year. I am sure you will hear tons of stories throughout the year about the funny things they do.
We have a very exciting and busy year ahead filled with many hands-on, interesting activities, projects, writing assignments, and experiments to complete that I am sure everyone will love. I will be working closely with your other wonderful teachers at Brinckerhoff to ensure that this year is as engaging, productive, and educational as it can possibly be!
Mrs. Sokol
Welcome!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Sokol, and I’m so excited to welcome you to our third-grade class! This is my 27th year teaching at Brinckerhoff — a place that’s especially close to my heart because I was once a student here myself.
A little about me: I love spending time outdoors and enjoy activities like skiing, hiking, boating, and going to the gym. My family shares this love for nature, and we cherish our time together outside. I have two wonderful sons — Tanner, who is 18 and a freshman at Hartwick College, and Noah, who is 11 and currently in sixth grade right here at Brinckerhoff. We also have two fun-loving dogs, Wilson and Dexter, who enjoy hiking and swimming with us in Lake George!
Each day, I look forward to coming to school and seeing my students’ smiling faces. I’m excited for a year full of learning, laughter, and making great memories together in third grade!
